I liked the transportability of the bed and the ease of set up. My 3 1/2 year old son loves it and slept pretty well on it. Our only issues were the noise level as he moved around in it and he kept falling out of it. It is slippery and the zipper comes unzipped as he moves around. We would find him on the floor a couple times a night. Eventually we had to put pillows along side the bed to help him stay in it.
