I bought this pillow a few years ago as a travel pillow, and it works great for travel. Stuffs very compactly and unstuffs to a nice, soft consistent loft again and again. I am also a side sleeper but I prefer my pillows pretty low, so folding this pillow in half to double the thickness is perfect for me. I've used it for everything: car travel, hotels, airplanes, seat cushion, book rest. And now for several years I use it every night at home as my only pillow ever since my regular old hand-me-down bed pillow bit the dust. I thought I would just use the camp pillow until I got a new standard pillow, but this pillow is so comfortable for me I never got around to replacing it. And it's still in almost perfect shape after all these years, almost as soft and lofty as the day I bought it.
